Home of the original sticky toffee pudding, this great-grandmother of a hotel offers peace and tranquility on the shores of Lake Ullswater and a rather good lunch deal at just £22.50 for 3 courses.  The menu is seasonal and changes each month but it’s also inspired by past menus and dishes from the hotel’s culinary history – perfect for a foodie trip down memory lane…
